Venice | The Queen of the Adriatic | December 14th to 17th

The best thing about Venice is being able to get lost around the island, however we will visit emblematic points, we will walk across the Rialto Bridge, the oldest and most famous bridge in Venice, we will visit the Rialto Market nearby, known for its fresh products, such as fruits, vegetables, fish and seafood.

We will pass by the Basilica of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari and the Doge's Palace, seat of Venice's government for centuries, and St. Mark's Basilica, one of Venice's most famous religious icons, known for its domes, marble and ornate mosaics. (Entries not included)

We will take a walk along the Venice seafront, Riva degli Schiavoni and enjoy the panoramic view of St. Mark's Square, the Doge's Palace and the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore.

During a visit, we will pass by the famous Bridge of Sighs, another attraction in Venice. Legend has it that the name of the bridge was given in reference to the prisoners sentenced to death who would pass by and sigh during the opportunity to see the city for the last time.

We will visit Libreria Acqua in Venice, the most beautiful in the world, according to the BBC and the Telegraph (and us lol). This bookstore is practically underwater, it is so level with the canal. Staff work in rubber boots and when high tide comes, or the canal level rises, they have to move books to higher shelves.

The evening is free, but you can enjoy a glass of Prosecco in one of the bars along the Grand Canal whilst taking in the city's iconic views, or perhaps dine in one of the restaurants in the Dorsoduro area, known for its hidden culinary delights. and stunning views of Venice's canals. Take a nighttime gondola ride through Venice's canals and admire the city under the stars.

Residenza Cannaregio preserves one of the most deep-rooted traditions of Venetian palaces: the porta d'acqua. The porta d'acqua, which, as its name suggests, is the door that gives direct access to the canal and allows guests to arrive and leave the residence directly by taxi or gondola.

The city of Venice charges a municipal tax of €4.50 per person/per night for stays on the island. These amounts must be paid directly to the hotel upon check-in.

The installment is paid through an entity/reference that is sent by email up to 3 days before the due date.
